General Description: The GranDeva (Heitra) is a rather large hollow. It's skin is like that of scales, large green shards layered on top of one another to produce a thick skin. Heitra has a tail near his lower back which extends about 4-5 feet, it coated in the scales as well. The hollow has claws for hands and feet, and a mask that looks like that of a grinning bull with sharp closed teeth. The eyes of the mask are narrowed and angled downwards to make it look like a sinister grin. The spine of the GranDeva is sharp and rigid, almost capable of cutting. Strands of brown hair oozes from the back of the mask, some clinging and rising to it's back to act as a mane, and some of the hair dropping down near the mouth of the hollow's mask. It's eyes glow with a blue color, and on it's mask is a red mark that looks like a dull upside-down triangle under the right eye socket.
About You!
Personality: Heitra, despite having the power and capability of destroying and hurting the things around it, is a very lazy being. It's name, 'The GranDeva', is meant to mean 'The Grand Devastation' from the amount of destruction it's capable of bringing. However, is seems to do the exact opposite most of the time, only minding it's own business. The usual activity of GranDeva consists of resting, waking up, eating a large meal, and resting for the rest of the day. If somehow you're capable of catching him when he's not eating or resting, he will be willing to listen to what you have to say with his tail's behavior showing his current mood.
A quick explanation on his tail's behavior... The tail will sway vigorously from side to side, showing he's interested in what you're saying. The tail will come to a dead stop, lying on the ground, showing that he's completely bored of you. If the tail stops, but is pointed in the air, he shows great concern for something. Finally, if the tail attempts to bury itself into the ground and dig itself back up, it means he's highly agitated.
Back to GranDeva himself, he's very patient when he's not hungry. He's not quick to get upset unless starving, and if something requires him to think, he's very methodical and careful with his thinking/answer. Though, he's not much of a talker, not going out of his way to start a conversation with someone. If he knows the person, however, he'll attempt to strike up a chat. Heitra, while he was alive, was a very comical person and brave. He loved making people laugh, thus, it's something he attempts to do in the small amount he speaks. Most of the time, he'd spar with partners, showing off his competitive spirit. If need be, Heitra will rush to a friend's aid, defending them. To summarize Heitra's relationship with friends in a single word, it'd be 'loyal'.
Likes: The GranDeva obviously loves it's rest. It could remain idle for an estimated five months before waking up for a meal, only to return to sleep for another five months. The meal it favors most is, oddly, it's own kind. It matters not what size or type of hollow it is, it seems to enjoy the taste of them in general. At least, it prefers it over 'scrawny human scraps' so he refers the human souls to be. The hollow seems to enjoy company, despite never speaking a word around others unless he has to. On the rare events that the GranDeva is not asleep or feasting, it prefers to simply enjoy nearby settings. These settings can range from the wasteland setting of Huaco Mundo to the setting sun of the world of the living. As stated in his personality, Heitra enjoys his attempts at making other smile.
Dislikes: The very first thing, above anything, that Heitra hates is being woken up. He doesn't mind being kept awake by someone/something, but being woken up is definitely the fastest way to end up being his meal, or just another blood splatter under his large claws. However, if it's someone he knows, he won't mind this unless they continuously do it. The next thing he hates is conflict of any kind. When hunting for his usual food, there are instances where his food is stolen by a fellow hollow. He'd sometimes let this slide and shrug it off, especially if he asks for the prey and the hollow claims they hadn't have seen him. But that's impossible, the GranDeva being as big as he is. If the response from the kill stealing hollow is negative, or anything else that isn't polite or apologetic, Heitra will smash the hollow, now gaining a bonus meal. The other kind of conflict, that being combat, requires energy and effort for him to partake in. He's not a fan of 'friendly spars' and what not, or using his energy in general. Thus, if one does initiate battle with him, they must be prepared for rage incarnate.
History: [Alive]
Heitra, in the primitive years that he was alive, was a well renowned warrior. As a child growing up within a warrior based tribe, he quickly was able to gain knowledge on anything war related. Being able to cut down an innumerable amount of enemies, well informed of combat techniques and experience. All done from the age of 5 ... and done by the age of 21. The young warrior, though as lazy as he acted, took one thing serious. Training and hunting for the village's food. While others ran after startled herds of cattle and such, Heitra knew to keep a low profile and aim for the animal's rear legs. That, or the front legs if he's got a lucky angle, most of time he'd find himself at improper positions.
The day had come where Heitra would enter his 500th battle, and come out victorious for the 500th time. He dodged, countered, and adapted to enemy soldier's attacks with ease. To some, he was known as fearless, and to others a combat genius. However, one unfortunate miscalculation in the mission briefing costed Heitra his life. A sniper who was meant to abandon the enemy army came back, and shot the man in the cheek of his face, under his right eye. The arrow head slashed open the eye partially, the warrior now incapacitated and taken advantage of by the enemy soldiers. Wound after wound, Heitra finally collapses to his knees, breathing heavily. Before his death, he was informed of the cause of the miscalculation, the sniper getting a tip from an unknown source. The one informing him of this was his childhood friend, and also the one who seems to now be siding with the enemy team. When questioned why he'd do this, the 'friend' simply responded with...
"Your wife asked me to, saying she is interested in me. I had no choice, for I couldn't resist her... I'm sorry, Heitra."
That, being the final words he heard before the blow being delivered, caused Heitra's spirit to darken and grow cold in feeling/vibe. The attack was meant to kill, the sword striking deeply into his neck as blood oozed out at an alarming rate. However, his heart filled with a will made of iron wouldn't allow this, the wounded Heitra standing and roaring as he delivered a mortal blow to his 'friend' before collapsing where he was. The other man's head slowly slid off from Heitra's attack, two friends dying over the wishes of his wife.
[Spirit]
Heitra was lying on the battlefield next to his headless body, still in shock of what he heard. The last words of his 'friend' repeated in his mind over and over, like a record skipping. Sitting next to him was his friend, who continuously apologized to Heitra about all of this, and was panicking about what was going on.
"I...I cannot touch a thing! People are walking by- Look, some of the dead soldiers are alive and well and- ...Gods... T-that is it, is it not? We... We have died...!" Heitra had eventually learned to tune out the frightened man. He became incredibly enraged when the man spotted his wife. She snickered at the two bodies of the foolish men, wrapping her hands around another man and kissing just above their corpses.
"T-That...cannot be correct..." Heitra heard his friend gasp in disbelief as he saw this as well. As Heitra was seeing this, something inside of his...snapped.
[Hollow]
The rest is a blank, Heitra having no memory of becoming what he classifies as a monster. However, he was surrounded by beings of a similar style. Would that make him a monster of everyone else looked like him? Perhaps what he formerly was is what would be a 'monster' to these things...
Time continued forward as normal, Heitra retaining his knowledge of battle and regaining unimportant memories. However, with the betrayal of his best friend in the previous life, he just prefers to lay and rest for months within his cave before devouring souls and hollows to keep himself alive. He prefers to keep to himself, living a near antisocial life, the bad taste that his previous life had left him growing with each passing day. Eventually, it came to the point where the months he'd sleep for had shortened to five months, the need to feed growing immensely. He's met some decent creatures in this land he's learned to call home, most knowing not to pester him when he's sleeping or feasting. The encounter was, as usual, a rocky start. However, the faint bond he has with the creatures is definitely present, willing to intervene in conflict involving them if need be. All in all, the once proud and immortal warrior now lives a secluded life within Hueco Mundo.
