Zanjutsu: is the fighting style for the Zanpakutō (i.e. sword fighting) and is one of the basic fighting styles of the Shinigami. Hakuda: is a close-combat style of fighting, in which one is unarmed and uses only one's body, and is one of the basic fighting styles of the Shinigami. High-speed Taijutsu (体術, Body Skill) attacks are used to overwhelm the opponent. Physical strength and skill is determined by this class. It seems to be a combination of several martial arts. Kidō: is a form of Shinigami combat based on advanced spells. These spells are produced with strong Reiryoku and fall into two categories: Hadō for direct attacks, and Bakudō for battle support. Shikai (始解, Initial Release): is the second (or first upgraded) form available to a Zanpakutō. To activate it, the Shinigami needs to learn the name of their Zanpakutō. This is not as easy as simply picking a name, for the living spirit of the Zanpakutō already has its own name. The Shinigami must be able to communicate and harmonize with their Zanpakutō effectively, which requires being able to speak to the spirit within its world. A Shinigami's Shikai can have a total of two (2) abilities at max Experience put into it. - Shikai description:
The blade changes shape and gains special abilities by chanting a Kaigo, or release incantation. Using the Kaigo, followed by the name of the Zanpakutō, activates Shikai. It is crucial to memorize each phrase, for every Zanpakutō has a different incantation.
The commands vary between users and range from a simple imperative verb to a short poem. They often relate to the Zanpakutō's signature ability or hint at the nature of its spirit. This step may be bypassed by expert Shinigami who have learned how to use their Bankai. Occasionally, Shinigami who did not learn Bankai can release their Zanpakutō simply by saying its name.
Achievement of the Shikai is a mark of control of a Zanpakutō, and it is a requirement for advancement within the Shinigami ranks, for most seated officers are capable of Shikai. It is required in order to achieve the rank of lieutenant, for it is a requirement which most captains look for.
Bankai (卍解, Final Release): is the second and final upgraded form of a Zanpakutō. To achieve Bankai, one must be able to materialize and subjugate their Zanpakutō spirit. Materialization means the opposite of getting dragged into the Zanpakutō's inner world: the wielder needs to summon the Zanpakutō's spirit into the physical world. It usually takes 10 years or more to achieve, plus the experience needed to master it. A Shinigami's Bankai can end with a total of three (3) abilities. - Bankai description:
The power and forms of Shikai and Bankai are dependent on the Zanpakutō, and vary according to the wielder's strength and training. But in general, one's power can grow 5 to 10 times greater by attaining it. Only the strongest Shinigami can use it, and it is the ultimate technique of a Zanpakutō. Even the four noble families, whose members are always exceptionally talented, only have a member capable of Bankai every few generations. Those who achieve Bankai always have remarkable roles in the history of Soul Society.

Name: Bakudo #1: Sai Type: Defensive, active Description: A weak binding Kido spell where the user locks a target's arms in place behind their back. This has no effect on anyone Rank 3 or over and lasts a total of two (2) posts. Cooldown: Four posts Cost: N/A, Shinigami starts with. Name: Hado #4: Byakurai Type: Offensive, active Description: Fires a bolt of energy in the shape of white lightning from the fingertip of the user. The blunt power of this ability is not very strong but it excels in piercing and can even go straight through weaker enemies. It can reach a max distance of fifteen (15) meters. Cooldown: Three (3) posts Cost: 300 EXP Name: Hado #11: Tsuzuru Raiden Type: Supplementary, sustainable Description: Electric current flows through any object the user touches and is able to lead electricity, damaging any target that is in contact with the object the current runs through. This can cause mild electric third degree burns and serves mainly as a deterrent. Cooldown: Number of posts active + two (2) posts Cost: 250 EXP Name: Bakudo #4: Hainawa Type: Defensive, sustainable Description: An energy rope entangles a target's arms. This works very similarly to Sai and is more of an upgrade than anything, working on targets Rank 3 and lower while able to last up to five (5) posts if kept up. Cooldown: Number of posts active + two (2) posts Cost: 250 EXP

Cooldown: One use per post, / Cost: N/A, unlocked at Rank 2. Name: Hado #31: Shakkahō Type: Offensive, active Description: Forms a ball of red energy in the hand and then launches it at the target. Shakkaho causes mild burns on impact while also being strong enough to knock opponents back with the sheer force behind the blow. The strongest of the weaker Hado. Chant: "O Lord, Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter wings, you who bears the name of Man, Inferno and Pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, March on to the south!" Cooldown: Two (2) posts Cost: 350 EXP Name: Hado #32: Okasen Type: Offensive, active Description: Fires a wide (three (3) meter) arc of yellow energy at a target. Not as fast as a Shakkaho but covers more ground with roughly the same amount of strength behind it, able to push even more experienced targets backwards. Cooldown: Two (2) posts Cost: 350 EXP Name: Bakudo #8: Seki Type: Defensive, sustainable Description: Creates a small shield on the forearm that briefly paralyzes and repels whatever hits it. This is strong enough to fend off un-enhanced physical attacks Rank 4 and lower. Cooldown: Number of posts active + two (2) posts Cost: 400 EXP Name: Bakudo #9: Geki Type: Defensive, active Description: Engulfs a target in red light, completely paralyzing them. This lasts for only a single post but can work on targets even up to Rank 4. Chant: "Disintegrate, black dog of Rondaniini, Look upon your burning soul and sever your throat!" Cooldown: Four (4) posts Cost: 400 EXP Name: Kaidō I Type: Healing, sustainable Description: As the user holds his/her hands above the patient's wounds, his/her palms glow with green spiritual energy to facilitate healing. When one heals with regular healing kidō, they perform Reiatsu restoration first. By doing so, one can attempt to recover the physical body using the patient's restored reiatsu and the healer's external reiatsu. Therefore, restoring the reiatsu when the physical body is in a fully healed state is no trouble at all. While this spell can technically heal all wounds it would take a long period of time of active healing to do so, and for that use is it best mentioned out of topic to explain away wounds. In topic and combat the first stage of Kaido can heal minor wounds such as cuts, bruises, weak burns over the course of two (2) posts, medium wounds such as gashes, muscle tearing, second degree burns and the like over five (5) posts and anything further over eight (8) posts depending on the severity. (Meaning mortal injuries will take even longer, outside of topic.) Severed limbs can be reattached but not regrown and anything lethal can not be healed. This attack can cause second degree burns on contact and is regarded as one of the stronger common Kido. Chant: "O Lord, mask of flesh and bone, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of man, truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws!" Cooldown: Two (2) posts Cost: 500 EXP Name: Hado #48: Gaki Rekkō Type: Offensive, active Description: A spell that makes a circle of energy, before firing blasts of green light from its center in a cage-like formation. This ability has incredibly strong reach as anything within thirty (30) meters of the user can be hit. The lights act as spears and can pierce as such. Cooldown: Four (4) posts Cost: 500 EXP Name: Bakudo #9: Horin Type: Defensive, sustainable Description: Causes an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to erupt from the users hand and attempts to trap a target. The end of it remains in the hands of the user allowing them to control the path of the tendril before and after capture. The Kido is able to connect with another one of itself if both have captured a target and bind them together. This Kido is strong enough to continuously hold even Rank 4 targets if caught unaware and can be kept up for a maximum of four (4) posts. Chant: "Disintegrate, black dog of Rondaniini, Look upon yourself and tear out your own throat!" Cooldown: Six (6) posts Cost: 500 EXP Name: Bakudo #21: Sekienton Type: Defensive, active Description: Creates a blast upon activation and is used like a ninja's smoke bomb. Cooldown: Five (5) posts Cost: 650 EXP Name: Bakudo #37: Tsuriboshi Type: Defensive, sustainable Description: Creates a star-shaped cushion of Spiritual Energy, which anchors it to nearby objects with "ropes" of spirit particles. It can stop falling objects, acting like a safety net. Cooldown: Number of posts active + three (3) posts Cost: 300 EXP Name: Hado #54: Haien Type: Offensive, active Description: Fires a blast of purple spiritual energy which works like fire that will incinerate a target of low strength completely when it makes contact. Causes up to first degree burns if it makes direct contact. Cooldown: Six (6) posts Cost: 650 EXP Name: Hado #58: Tenran Type: Offensive, active Description: A widening tornado-like blast of wind is fired towards the target. This is mainly used to push back targets with a wide range of ten (10) meters in every direction in front of the user but can also rend and tear at flesh. Cooldown: Five (5) posts Cost: 700 EXP Name: Kaidō II Type: Healing, sustainable Description: A stronger version of the original Kaido used by people who specialize in healing Kido, generally those of the medical squad, the second ranking works exactly the same as the first just that its healing speed is increased substantially. Minor wounds are erased in one (1) post, medium wounds over three (3) posts and anything further in severity over six (6) posts, meaning even heavy disfigurement. The same rules of severed limbs apply and any operations involving lethal wounds are not likely to work, but with useage outside of combat it is possible to heal a target from what would otherwise be death. Shinigami with Hakuda Mastery are unmatched when it comes to fighting with their fists and quick movements without a similar release or ability active. Cooldown: / Cost: 800 EXP, cannot have Zanjutsu Mastery or Kido Mastery. Name: Zanjutsu Mastery Type: Supplementary, passive Description: The penultimate form of swordfighting, Shinigami that have truly mastered the way of the blade are donned with the titled of Zanjutsu masters. Shinigami with Zanjutsu Mastery are unmatched when it comes to fighting with their Zanpakuto and other bladed weaponry without a strong enough resisting force. Cooldown: / Cost: 800 EXP, cannot have Hakuda Mastery or Kido Mastery. Name: Kido Mastery Type: Supplementary, passive Description: Shinigami that have pushed their power and art with Demon Spells to the limit have been granted this sense of strength. Shinigami with Kido Mastery are unmatched when it comes to fighting with Kido and their spells are stronger than any other Shinigami could muster. Having Kido Mastery also allows you to purchase some of the stronger Rank 6 Kido, such as Kurohitsugi. Cost: 800 EXP, cannot have Hakuda Mastery or Zanjutsu Mastery. Name: Hado #63: Raikouhou Type: Offensive, active Description: Gathers yellow lightning at fingertips, then fires off as a bolt to pierce the target. This attack works like a super powered version of the similar Hado, Byakurai, and greatly resembles an actual lightning bolt even further; especially in its destructive powers. Chant: "Scattered beast bones! Spire, Crimson Crystal, Steel Wheels! The wind if it moves, the sky if it stops, the tone of the spear striking fills the lone castle!" Cooldown: Six (6) posts Cost: 750 EXP Name: Hado #73: Sōren Sōkatsui Type: Offensive, active Description: Essentially a doubled version of #33, this spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety. This ability is strong enough to even blast away a high level Arrancar, demonstrating its general strength against most weaker targets. Cooldown: Six (6) posts Cost: 800 EXP Name: Bakudo #61: Rikujōkōrō Type: Defensive, active Description: Summons six thin, but wide, beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. This spell lasts up to three (3) posts of near-perfect paralysis, with any movements made only being possible by the binded's sheer force of will. While the rods can be forced out of the body by literally grabbing and pulling them off, they cause pain and can pierce through the target when pinning them. Cooldown: Five (5) posts Cost: 750 EXP Name: Bakudo #77: Tentei Kuura Type: Non-combat, can be used to send messages to any other character or important NPC. Description: Transmits messages mentally to anyone within an area of the caster's choosing. In addition to reciting the spell, the user must draw specific markings on their arms, which are animated by the spell to convey the messages. The messages can be spoken either by the caster or by another within the vicinity of the caster. Cooldown: / Cost: 400 EXP

The speed when using a Shunpo Mastery Shunpo is unmatched by anything except similar abilities; such as the Mastery equivalents of the other techniques. Cooldown: One use per post, / Cost: 1000 EXP Name: Shunko Type: Offensive, active Description: An advanced technique that combines hand-to-hand combat and Kidō energy to explosively increase a Shinigami's offensive capabilities. A high-pressured Kidō surges throughout the user's body; the Kidō itself can be controlled and fired at opponents from the body. The keisen uniform has no back or sleeves because the fabric will rip apart when the user's back and arms are filled with Kidō. Using Shunko, the user fires off a blast of the aforementioned energy in what looks like a wide explosion of lightning (accompanied by sparks around both the user and blast). This attack has a width of ten (10) meters and can reach a max distance of eighty (80) going outward from the user. This blast decimates nearly everything in its area, reducing trees to almost nothing and causing general destruction. A close-range or point-blank impact could easily kill. Cooldown: Seven (7) posts Cost: 1000 EXP, must have Hakuda Mastery Name: Hado #88: Hiryu Gekizoku Shinten Raiho Type: Offensive, active Description: Fires a gigantic blast of spiritual energy resulting in an truly enormous explosion. Cooldown: Seven (7) posts Cost: 900 EXP Name: Hado #90: Kurohitsugi Type: Offensive, active Description: Forms a box of black energy around a target, which is then pierced by dozens of energy "spears", lacerating the one inside from head to toe. Chant: "The crest of turbidity, seeping out. An insolent vessel of madness. Boiling up, denying, numbness, blinking, obstructing slumber. The steel princess who creeps. The mud doll, ever disintegrating. Unite! Oppose! Filling the earth, know your own impotence!" Cooldown: Eight (8) posts Cost: 1000 EXP, requires Kido Mastery Name: Hado #91: Senjū Kōten Taihō Type: Offensive, active Description: Summons several spears of light that are all fired towards the same focal point where the intended target resides. The culminating explosion is exceedingly devastating. Cooldown:Cost: 1100 EXP, requires Kido Mastery Name: Bakudo #79: Kuyō Shibari Type: Defensive, active Description: The practitioner creates eight black holes with purple outlines which emit spiritual energy in the space surrounding the target, with the ninth black hole manifesting itself in the center of the target's chest, with the intention of immobilizing the target. If successful and the target does not move out of their exact area while the holes form they are wholly paralyzed for the next two (2) posts regardless of Rank. While strong in its ability to bind it does take a full post for the effect to take place and gives targets that are not otherwise preocuppied a chance to move before the holes are all formed. Cooldown: Eight (8) posts Cost: 1000 EXP, requires Kido Mastery Name: Bakudo #81: Danku Type: Defensive, active Description: Creates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall. This shield lasts only a single (1) post but blocks any attacks Rank 5 and lower that hit or near it. Cooldown: Nine (9) posts Cost: 1000 EXP, requires Kido Mastery Name: Keikatsu Type: Healing, sustainable Description: The penultimate of healing Kido, the user bathes their target in a green, misty light that instantly gets to work healing all of their wounds. Minor and medium wounds are gone immediately while larger, even lethal wounds, are healed in a matter of three (3) posts. This is truly the strongest form of healing Shinigami have to offer and is not to be taken lightly. Cooldown: Nine (9) posts, regardless of duration. | Visored Name: Hollowfication Type: Supplementary, passive Description: The act of donning a Hollow mask to skyrocket their offensive capabilities, a Visored does not have complete control of this ability yet and it activates without their consent. Under any circumstances where the Visored's life is in critical danger or they're already on the verge of near death, the Inner Hollow will completely take over their personality and body and fights for them for a short while. While this can be resisted it is ultimately futile. Under the effect's of Hollowfication, the base speed, power and defensive strength of the Visored is increased substantially and is incredibly difficult to match. Pain can also be ignored completely. The Hollowfication ends when the Visored is either no longer in danger, exhausted of energy or killed. Cooldown: / Cost: N/A, unlocked at Visored Name: Cero Type: Offensive, active Description: Gathers a red ball of energy at a point, then fires it off as a destructive beam. The color may vary depending on the Hollow's personality. A cero disintegrates non-human and non-spiritual objects in its path and can rip holes through a person's body at points blank range, and it appears stronger entities can use it more efficiently and forcefully. Cero is a highly powerful and relatively swift energy blast which can be fired from various body parts, such as the mouth, tongue, hand, or fingers. With the exception of a few Cero techniques and users, Cero requires some time to be used effectively, so the enemy must be not moving, busy with something else, or too badly wounded to even simply dodge it. Cooldown: Two (2) posts Cost: N/A, unlocked at Visored. Name: Perfect Hollowfication Type: Supplementary, sustainable Description: Pushing themselves with training the Visored has mastered their Inner Hollow to some degree and can now choose when to put their mask on, though it still has a habit of showing up at critical points to save its wearer from death. All of the attribute increases remain at roughly the same level of enchancement but with better control and the Visored retaining their original personality, though all pain taken while Hollowfied can be still be shrugged off. The base amount of time this can be taken up is three (3) posts, with an increase of one (1) post for every 1,000 words of training put towards mastering this further.
